Meet Our Founder

Collin Young is the Founder of IEP Justice and a dedicated education advocate with over three years of experience in both special and general education across PK–12 grade levels. Through direct classroom experience, [he/she/they] developed a deep understanding of how IEPs and 504 plans function in real school settings — and where families often need stronger support.

Collin is well-versed in the dispute resolution process at both the state and federal levels, helping families navigate mediation, complaints, due process procedures, and compliance concerns with confidence and clarity.

Advocacy is not just professional — it is personal. Growing up with a sister with special needs gave Collin firsthand insight into the challenges families face when securing appropriate educational services. That lived experience fuels a passionate commitment to protecting student rights and empowering parents with knowledge, strategy, and support.

Through IEP Justice,Collin is committed to ensuring every child receives the education they deserve — and every family has a voice at the table.
